CONCEPT 1- Stress-free lure operation The important thing in shore jigging and casting is to keep manipulating the lure to capitalise on all chance at a bite. Whilst casting from rock ledges large lures and jigs over 100g are often used which can take a toll on the angler. These lures are sometimes sensitive to action, and often you are fighting the tide and waves to lure in the fish. Daiwa carefully considered the tip material and taper from various perspectives, and pursued a smooth taper for load transfer and excellent blank recovery. This has greatly improved the ability for anglers to work lures freely. CONCEPT 2- Overwhelming fighting performance In developing the DRAGGER, we carried out a major review of the power ranking of shore jigging rods. DRAGGER “BREAKTHROUGH” is designed to subdue the biggest fish possible and an anglers experience can feel like a literal life and death struggle. In order to control a large fish during an extreme fight, you need a strong butt power in reserve if you need it. “BREAKTHROUGH” has a thicker butt section to ensure even more rod power is available to the angler. This allows you to forcefully stop a violent first run, gain the upper hand from the start, and fight the fish smoothly. It is a rod that does not give anything away to even the largest fish. DRAGGER “BREAKTHROUGH” is made for the anglers willing to put their bodies on the line in pursuit of giants. X45X Full Shield Technology is 25% more efficient than standard X45 technology. With increased torsional stiffness, blanks armed with X45X resist blank twist during casting & jigging. This characteristic prevents the blank from losing stored energy during the cast, ensuring that every bit of force you put into your cast, is transferred through the blank and ultimately to your chosen lure. Lighter and stronger than its predecessor, V-Joint Alpha features Bias construction that allows the rod joint to flex with the rod to eliminate flat spots and weakness in the ferrule joint. Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, Nanoplus allows for increased graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank.
